Pre-Kindergarten (3’s & 4’s)

Because every child is ready to embark on a learning adventure.

Our Pre-Kindergarten program is a place where your child will embark on an exciting adventure filled with hands-on experiences that cultivate early reading, writing, and math skills. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment that encourages social development and enhances motor skills, making learning both engaging and enjoyable!

Students engage in a variety of activities that inspire creativity and curiosity, with daily experiences in music, movement, art, and technology that encourage discovery and exploration.

Through collaborative play and group projects, students build essential social skills, form friendships, learn to communicate effectively, and develop confidence—laying the foundation for future success.

Students deepen their understanding of God’s love and provision through daily Bible lessons and weekly chapel time, nurturing their spiritual and emotional development. The First Look curriculum by The reThink Group reinforces faith-based teachings, helping students connect spiritual values with everyday life.

Our program prepares students to transition smoothly into Kindergarten by integrating developmentally appropriate resources like Frog Street Press, Pocket of Preschool, and Play to Learn Preschool. These tools help build early reading, writing, and math skills, while fostering a love for learning and ensuring students are confident and ready for the next step.

Expanding Horizons

Whether it’s climbing on a real truck, meeting a firefighter, or cuddling a fuzzy animal, these fun adventures spark curiosity and make learning about the world around them exciting and real!

From squishing playdough to splashing in water, sensory play helps your child get those little muscles moving and ready for all the fun school activities, like writing, drawing, and playing with friends!

Helping a friend pick up toys or lending a hand when someone’s hurt teaches kindness and teamwork, setting the stage for making friends and working together in school.

A joyful time full of songs, stories, and prayers where kids connect with each other and feel God’s love, making them excited to share and grow in their faith!

My daughter has had a wonderful experience at Morning Star. She loves this school and can’t wait to go in the morning. The teachers and curriculum are great!
